Snapchat launched its “Memories” feature to great acclaim. The feature allows users to go back in time and look at all the embarrassing things they’ve done over the years (we’ve all had a few). The Memories are categorized by the months of the year the snaps were taken. But what’s the point of having Memories if you can’t save them?
How to Automatically Save Snaps to Memories on Snapchat
‘Memories’ was a counterintuitive feature introduced by Snapchat. The app that was all about making chats and photos disappear brought us back our Memories! Memories are basically snaps and stories that you’ve saved over the years.
Unless you manually save your personal snaps (from user to user), you won’t find them in your Memories. Stories, on the other hand, are automatically saved to your Snapchat Memories, even if you don’t save them. This setting can be changed if you want to choose which stories you save.
