Gmail labels are like folders that organize your emails. Because labels are treated like folders, you can search through labels to quickly find emails that have been categorized. There are a couple of ways to search through Gmail labels, one of which is a keyboard shortcut that brings up labeled emails in seconds.

Opening Gmail labels is smooth and easy using the keyboard.
Press g and then l (a lowercase L). The focus jumps to the search bar at the top of Gmail.
Enter the name of the label.
