Attaching and sending a file from your computer in Gmail is simple and efficient. Sending multiple files is just as easy, and it works with documents that you can’t easily recreate in an email (like videos, images, and spreadsheets).
To attach a file to an email you send from Gmail:
Select Compose to create a new email message or to write a reply to a message you have received.
Select the Attach Files paperclip icon in the message window. An Open dialog box will open.
