A zipped or compressed file is smaller than the original version. By combining multiple files into a single compressed folder, you can more easily send them as an email attachment. Windows makes creating a zipped file a breeze.

Find the folder you want to compress.

Right-click on it and go to Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
