You can set Outlook to show you only email from people you email and from people you designate as safe senders. Outlook's Junk Email Filter automatically treats your contacts as safe senders, and anything that isn't from one of those senders is sent to your Junk Email folder. The filter can be customized to your preferences.
Select Junk Email in the Delete group.
Select 'Junk Email Options' from the drop-down menu.
