This article explains how to set the default outgoing message address in Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, Outlook for Microsoft 365, and Outlook for Mac.

To set the default email account to the account you want to use:

Select Account Settings > Account Settings.

Select the account you want to use as the default account.
