Make sure both your Xbox One console and controller are updated. To update your console and controller, connect your controller to your Xbox One using a USB cable. Do this with each Xbox One controller you plan to use.
Connect the micro USB end of the USB cable to the USB (Gen 3) or PWR (Gen 2) slot behind the Base Station/MixAmp. Then connect the other end to an open USB slot on the back of the Xbox One.
