When a location-based reminder is enabled — as is the case here with Google Keep — you’ll only get the reminder when you reach your destination. Instead of reminding you when the clock strikes 12 — or whatever time you set — it uses your phone’s GPS to pinpoint your exact location and match it with the one you’ve set as your destination. When the two locations match, Google Keep pushes a notification.
