In previous versions of iOS, you had to turn on the battery percentage option to see this information. Not on the iPhone 12! Now, the battery percentage option is turned on by default, you just have to know where to find it.

Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone 12 screen to open the iOS Control Center.

In the upper-right corner of the screen, next to the battery icon, you’ll see the battery percentage. This is how much battery your iPhone 12 has left.
