Early in your Crow Country adventure, you'll encounter a tantalizing train puzzle with limited clues. Acting as both a safe house and a challenging puzzle area, Mara uses the Train Room as a refuge until she gets her hands on the Data Disk.
Crow Country Puzzles Explained
Although you discover the train puzzle very early in Crow Country, the path to solving it is much longer than you might initially expect. In true retro horror style, the train puzzle has many steps before you get to the core of the game to unlock the lucrative reward: the flamethrower.
Finding the Data Disk in Crow Country is vital, as it is used to solve multiple puzzles. To my shame, I didn’t see the breaker in the Arcade, which set me back a lot, even though I had the Silver Key a whole hour before I found the keyhole. You can’t get the Data Disk without getting the Silver Key.
The Silver Key is located in the chest in Neptune's Palace Restaurant or the Ocean Kingdom. You need to use the Trident and lure the sea monsters in the tank to look towards the middle of the room, directly in front of the chest. Standing here with the Trident will lure the monsters into singing and unlock the chest in Neptune's Palace. The colors on top of the chest should glow green to open the chest. The Silver Key unlocks multiple doors in each Crow Country region, but for now we have to use it on the Arcade Breaker.
