Outlook places newly received emails above all others. If you’d rather see them at the bottom, so that older, unfinished emails get more attention, you can change the order of your inbox. You can also sort emails by sender or subject. Here’s how.
How to sort emails by sender in Outlook?
To change the order of the emails in your Inbox, use Microsoft Outlook's filtering system.
Open your Inbox and click Filter at the top of the window.
Select a sort setting. You can sort by date, sender, size, importance, or subject, and you can arrange emails to show oldest on top or newest on top.
