For some reason, Capcom (the developers) didn’t include an option to start a new game in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This makes it a bit of a concern for players who want to restart their playthrough with a new character. For now, there’s only one way to start over and that’s by deleting the save file. You’ll want to think twice about doing this though, as there’s only one save slot. There’s no way you can have both save files on at the same time. So if you’re certain you want to restart Dragon’s Dogma 2, here’s how to do it.

Update: The devs have now shared an update on the option to start a new game – “We are planning to add a feature to the Steam version of the game that will allow players who are already playing to restart the game. We will share more details as soon as possible.” We’ll keep you posted.

You will need to manually locate and delete your DD2 Saved File. Below are the locations of your saved progress on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
