THE BEST WAYS TO FARM IN MANOR LORDS
Growing crops such as wheat is essential for survival in Manor Lords, while other crops can improve the quality of life and regional prosperity. Starting and maintaining a farming field is tricky, because if your timing is off or there are no families to work the fields, famine is likely inevitable. Choosing a random spot to plant a field will also get you into trouble, because a farming field needs fertility to produce a sufficient number of crops.
All land in Manor Lords has a fertility rating, with green being good and red being bad. Your first harvest from a Farm Field should always be Wheat (Emmer), as food is essential and a solid yield will increase the number of months your village can survive without producing more food.
Use green areas to plant your Emmer (wheat) farm fields. You can always plant additional farm fields for other types of crops in the future.
