How to prevent apps from opening at startup on a Windows 11 or 10 PC
Windows 11 has less bloatware than previous versions, but there’s still some bundled software you might never need. Here’s what you need to stop Windows from automatically installing more suggested apps in the background.
Select Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
Select Yes in the UAC (User Account Control) dialog box to open the Registry Editor. You can also open the editor directly from the search box on the taskbar by typing "regedit".
