Some of the annoying anomalies you’ll encounter on Pacific Drive will do everything they can to sabotage you. One in particular that I have an outgoing rivalry with is the Pickpocket. This anomaly will steal your stuff, whether it’s from your car or directly from your person. Here’s how to stop them!

Dealing with an anomaly while you’re gathering materials or trying to complete quests in the zone is annoying, but it becomes a full-blown feud when a Pickpocket takes an item you’ve worked hard to craft or harvest. Luckily, there are a few ways to prevent this from happening.
No object is off-limits to the pickpockets. They won’t hesitate to grab a headlight or even a car door and rip it right off. You’ll want to equip the LIMpulse Emitter to prevent that. You can unlock it from the Fabrication Station and equip it to your ability slots in your car.
With the LIMpulse Emitter equipped, press the button associated with the ability at the exact moment the Pickpocket approaches to deflect it. You can also try to go around it to avoid taking any parts. However, if someone grabs something without you noticing, you can go back and find the object hanging from the Pickpocket's tentacles and retrieve it in most cases.
