Like many players, you may have initially dismissed the tale your Pawns tell you about a virus that’s driving them insane in Dragon’s Dogma 2 as a typical video game joke. The reality, however, is far grimmer: the virus, known as “Dragonplague,” is all too real, and it could wreck havoc on your playthrough if left unchecked. Here’s how to stop it.

As mentioned, the Pawn insanity virus is called Dragonplague, and it is caused by confrontation with Dragonkin. Specifically, when a Dragonkin attempts to mind control a Pawn, that Pawn can secretly contract the Dragonplague virus. So, the question is: how do you know when a Pawn has Dragonplague? Luckily, it’s not too difficult to recognize the symptoms of this virus if you’re aware of them. However, there’s a big catch.
Before I go into the symptoms, know that only Pawns can get the Dragonplague virus. You yourself are immune to it because you are an Arisen.
