Transmog was originally added to WoW in the latest Cataclysm patch, Patch 4.3. But with Classic, the feature is now making its way to the expansion, giving players the ability to change the appearance of their armor earlier than expected.

Since transmog was first introduced in WoW over 12 years ago, transmogrifiers in the game’s capitals have not moved. Horde and Alliance players who have transmogrified gear in WoW retail can head to the same spots in Orgrimmar and Stormwind, and find transmog stations waiting for them in Cataclysm Classic.
