The screen no one wants to see
How to Fix Critical Process Died Blue Screen Error on Windows 10 and 11
The dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) has been around since Windows 95. It’s a dreaded error screen that appears with little to no warning, letting you know that something is wrong with your computer.
Often, a simple reboot will make the problem go away for good. However, intermittent or frequent BSODs can indicate anything from serious software errors to computer hardware problems. BSODs are not something to worry about, at least not in most cases. You should analyze the contents of the BSOD error and try to find possible solutions.
You've probably noticed that Microsoft doesn't officially call this error a Blue Screen Of Death. That's a name that user communities have given it over the years. The correct term for the error is a "stop error" or "exception error". Both are types of fatal system errors, better known as system crashes.
