How to Quickly and Easily Disable Notifications on Your Mac
You can make the notifications very specific, but if you want them to stop for a while and deal with them later, the Do Not Disturb feature is the quickest and easiest way.
Click the Control Panel icon in the menu bar (it looks like two rounded rectangles stacked on top of each other, one transparent and one white).
Click Do Not Disturb.
