AOL uses a proprietary system for sending emails between members that allows you to undo an email you've already sent, as long as the recipients used AOL email addresses. If you've typed an angry message and now want to make sure the recipient doesn't see it, or you've accidentally sent the wrong message to the wrong person, or you've generally changed your mind, you can undo an email in AOL, but only if you're using AOL Desktop Gold software.
Can you recover/undo an email message in AOL Mail?
Undoing messages is currently only available in the paid AOL Desktop Gold software. You cannot undo an email via AOL Mail online or the AOL mobile app.
Open AOL Desktop Gold on your computer.
Go to the Send Email folder.
