This article explains how to permanently undo a message you sent via Facebook Messenger. You can delete the message from your own chat history or for everyone in the chat.

On Facebook on the web, go to the post you want to retract and follow these steps:

Select More (three dots), then select Delete.

Select Undo Send for Everyone to remove the comment from the conversation, then select Delete.
