When you uninstall Chrome, you may also delete your profile data. Although the data is no longer on your computer, it may still be on Google’s servers if you sync your data. Clearing your internet cache first will prevent this.

Before you uninstall Chrome, make sure the browser isn't running. If it's in your Dock, right-click on Chrome and then select Quit.

Open Finder and select the Applications folder, which may appear in the Favorites pane on the left side of the Finder window. Otherwise, open the File menu at the top of the screen, select Search, and then search for “Google Chrome.”
