League of Legends’ new PvE mode, Swarm, features hundreds of objectives and missions to complete as you fight for the safety of the planet against the Primordians. There are multiple champions to unlock along your journey, each with their own set of quests.
How to Complete Character Story Missions in Swarm (League of Legends) – Why Missions Are Not Working
The path to unlocking them is tricky and it takes a while before you can progress through character missions since you have to complete the entire story first. If you're confused about how character missions work in Swarm, read on to find out how to unlock and complete them.
Unlocking character missions in Leagues' Swarm is pretty simple. Completing the story unlocks a new section in the objectives tab called Character Story. As you can see in the image above, defeating Aatrox unlocks character missions. Then, you're given tons of other objectives to complete.
Once you complete the story, many new quests will appear in this tab. At this point, you will have unlocked most, if not all, of the champions, so you will have access to all of the champion story quests. If for some reason you have not unlocked Riven, you can unlock her directly via the Anima Squad pass.
