If you’ve seen our Best Vocations Tier List, then you might already know how good a Trickster is in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This Vocation is exclusive to the Arisen and cannot be chosen by the Pawns. A Trickster has access to a Censer, who can summon smoke to create illusions and provide buffs and debuffs. Unfortunately, this is locked from the start and must be unlocked by talking to an NPC named Luz. In this guide, we’ll explain where to find Luz and become a Trickster in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Dragon's Dogma 2 Trickster Guide and Beginner Build (and How to Unlock)
You unlock the Trickster Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2 after speaking to the Oracle of Luz at the Reverent Shrine. This location is located on the southeast side of Enoa's Battahl Forest (see image above). Once inside the Shrine, speak to the spectral version of Luz and pay her 50G to unlock the Trickster Vocation.
If you're somehow having a hard time reaching the Reverent Shrine, don't worry, there's another way to get around it. Simply complete the main storyline until you reach a quest called "Flickering Shadows." In this quest, you'll automatically be directed to this location and interact with Luz. Anyway, once you've unlocked the Vocation, simply head to a Vocation Guild and talk to the NPC there to become a Trickster in Dragon's Dogma 2.
One more thing, if you go around the Shrine from the outside, you will find a ladder. Climb up that ladder and reach the top to find the human form of Luz. Talk to her in this form to receive a Theurgist's Scroll from her. This scroll is used to unlock the Dragon's Delusion Trickster skill.
