While some Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO characters are available from the start, you'll encounter a handful of characters (excluding different variants or forms) throughout your playthrough.

There are multiple ways to unlock characters: purchasing them in the store, completing the main episodic quests and branching paths, leveling up your player, or using Dragon Balls. With so much to offer, here's every unlockable character and how to get them.

There are many more characters than the above list, and you will need to purchase them from the store even after you unlock them. So consider this list a work in progress as we continue through the game and try to find other ways to unlock the characters beyond the ones listed above.

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO has a lot of characters, way more than it has any right to have, and there will be more coming in the future via DLC. Most characters are unlocked via episodes, offline tournaments, store purchases, or bonus battles, so it’s not hard to work your way through all those places and gradually unlock everything, but we still have trouble finding some of the available alternate forms.
