The author tells you to “bond with someone more mechanically inclined.” And while no one may come to mind at first, you’ll recognize this NPC the moment you cross paths with them. The Gunner Archetype is unlocked as you progress through the story, making it one of the many near-must-have Archetypes in Metaphor ReFantazio. However, this does mean you’ll have to wait a while before you can unlock it. For the spoiler-free answer: you’ll meet the NPC involved in this task around the end of June. While you’ll first meet him on June 23rd, it’ll be a few days before you can research this Archetype. Afterward, stop by a small village called Komero.
