The Thermal Scope is a new optical attachment that allows you to target enemies by viewing heat signatures. Forged by the god Hephaestus, these new modifications can be unlocked via Mod Benches found in Weapon Bunkers.

The Thermal Scope can be equipped to any scoped weapon, making it much more versatile at range. Not only does this optic attachment double your range of vision, it also comes with a thermal image that can be toggled on and off on command. With the introduction of weapon mods in Chapter 5 Season 1, players can now tailor the right loadout for their weapons.

The Huntress DMR is one of the best weapons to mount the Thermal Scope on. Certain attachments make weapons more versatile at range, and with a thermal optic it is easier to spot enemies. Additionally, I recommend mounting a Magazine for more bullets and an Underbarrel attachment for better stability. With this setup, you can fire at enemies from a distance and engage in third-person combat without leaving yourself exposed.
