If you’ve read through our Best Vocations Tier List , then you may already know that Warriors are the best for melee combat in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Players who choose this Vocation have access to two-handed weapons. A single swing with a Warrior’s weapon can easily take out multiple enemies, so this class definitely isn’t one to avoid. Unfortunately, this Vocation is locked, and you’ll need to complete a quest called “Vocation Frustration” to unlock it.
How to unlock Warrior and Sorcerer calling EARLY in Dragons Dogma 2: tips!
In this quest you must find a greatsword and in return you will unlock the Warrior Vocation in DD2. Our guide here will explain where and how to find the greatsword and unlock this advanced Vocation with ease.
Note: While completing the Vocation Frustration quest, you can also unlock the Sorcerer Vocation. However, you will need to find an archistaff, which can be found in the same location as the greatsword.
The first step in unlocking the Warrior Vocation is to interact with an NPC known as Klaus. He can be found at the Vernworth Vocation Guild in Vernworth, one of the main in-game hubs. The Vocation Guild is located just below Shakir’s Inn near the Merchant Quarter (see image above). Once you’ve found Klaus, speak to him to start the quest “Vocation Frustration.”
