To update Roblox on PC, all you need to do is launch Roblox Player and the update will start automatically. Since Roblox started using its own mandatory launcher on PC, all updates are handled through this launcher.
If there is a major update or you haven’t played in a while, you may need to go to the official Roblox website and re-download the client. In that case, go to roblox.com (you can use any web browser) and log in to your account. On the main page, choose a Roblox game you want to play and select the green play button. Instead of launching the game, this will launch the downloader for the new update.
You don’t need to worry about installation. Roblox Player and Studio will install themselves on your computer wherever they want (you can’t even select the installation folder). Once the installation is complete, you can play Roblox again.
