Locate the media on the PS3 that you want to back up and copy it to the USB drive. Your console settings, online IDs, and other important data are stored on the PS3 flash memory, so you don’t need to copy this content. Move all of your game content, including your PlayStation game saves and other media such as images, videos, movies, and trailers.
