It’s not always easy to find the right WhatsApp chat when all your conversations are grouped under one ‘Chats’ section. Luckily, WhatsApp has now introduced ‘chat filters’ that help you find the right chat as soon as you open WhatsApp. Here’s everything you need to know about using chat filters on WhatsApp.

There are three preset chat filters that you will see at the top of your chat list. These are All, Unread, and Groups.
All Chats, as the name suggests, contains all of your chats and conversations, which is also the default view of all of your messages. Essentially, this is what your chat list will look like 'without' a filter.
Unread chats include chats that you haven't opened or responded to yet. It also includes chats that you've individually marked as unread.
