Anime Last Stand allows you to collect an army of popular characters from various manga series. However, in order to unlock them or evolve them into their more powerful variants, you’ll need to spend some resources. This certainly includes the in-game currencies: Emeralds and Coins. While the use of Emeralds is sorted in ALS, the purpose of Coins still seems to be unknown. Even after exploring every nook and cranny of the map, I couldn’t find a single place where Coins could be used.

After browsing the internet for a while, I got a subtle idea about the usage of coins in the Anime Last Stand. So I will share it with you in this guide. However, keep in mind that these are just predictions. The developers have not revealed the real usage of this currency yet.

I think the purpose of Coins in Anime Last Stand will not be different from the purpose of Emeralds. But you can expect the coin segment to be a bit premium. For example, it is possible that instead of 50 Emeralds, you only need 1 Coin to use a Summoning Banner. This justifies the use of both currencies.

Besides Summoning, Trading, and Crafting, there are two other places where you should be able to use Coins in Anime Last Stand. Both of these features are currently in development. I think these places are perfect to fill the void left by Coins.
