This article explains how to use Excel's AutoFormat option to create a professional, organized spreadsheet, while improving the readability of your Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and saving time. The instructions in this article apply to Excel 2019, 2016, 2013, and 2010, and to Excel for Microsoft 365.
To use AutoFormat, add the AutoFormat icon to your Quick Access Toolbar so you can access it whenever you need it. After you add AutoFormat, it will remain on your Quick Access Toolbar.
Select the Quick Access Toolbar drop-down arrow.
Choose More Commands to open the Customize Quick Access Toolbar dialog box.
