This article explains how to use the Windows keyboard shortcut Control F command equivalent on an iPad. A keyboard shortcut lets you open the Find function to look for a word or phrase in a document or on a web page. We'll also show you how to do this even if you don't have a keyboard connected.
How to Use F on iPhone (Safari, Google Chrome, and PDFs)
If you have an external keyboard connected to your iPad, simply open the document or webpage and press Command+F to bring up the Search feature.
Then enter a word or phrase in the search box and press Return to search. Your results will be highlighted.
If you have a document in a word processing program such as Pages, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs, you can use the app's search function.
