Failsafe's Proximity Sensor is essential during the second week of Act One of A Rising Chorus, asking players to recover samples in order to progress the story and track down another specimen. Here are all the locations on Nessus you need to scan as part of Destiny 2's seasonal storyline.
The Failsafe proximity sensor appears as a buff on the left side of your screen. This tells you how close you are to the target location, and it also comes with additional Failsafe beeps to help you out. It's unclear if these locations change between players.
Your first location is the Exodus Black on Nessus, so head there and follow the proximity bar to find a scannable object. For us, this was in a cylinder near a Vex wall, after the entrance to the Rift Lost Sector.
