Rusty's Retirement has a lot of different settings you can play around with to make the game as optimized as possible for your play style. Whether you have your game at the bottom or the side of your computer screen, you may want to occasionally use Focus Mode – a feature in the game's settings that can be useful when you need to focus on something other than your idle farming experience.

We know that Focus Mode in Rusty's Retirement slows down crop production (as noted in the settings menu below), but that can be an odd addition to an idle game that you need to leave running on your screen while you do something else.
Focus Mode is designed to let you take a break from your game without having to deal with empty farmlands and lazy robots not doing their job.
Idle games are usually played in a way that allows players to earn more items or currency to purchase items by actively playing the game. They do not require your full attention, often simply requiring you to keep tapping the screen or perform a few tasks every now and then before exiting the game to play while you do something else.
