Google Meet lets users hold group meetings with up to 250 participants in a single call, and record and save meetings to Google Drive. The company gradually rolls out new features every few weeks, including the ability to view up to 16 participants in a tiled layout, better protection for meeting participants, low-light mode, noise cancellation, and presenting separate Chrome tabs.
How to: Join a Google Meet Call in Gmail
In addition to new features, Google is working on integrating Google Meet with other Google services. One of those services is Gmail, and the Mountain View giant has made it seamless to start and join Google Meet meetings via Gmail.

Google has integrated its Google Meet service directly into users’ Gmail accounts. This means that you can create a meeting or join an already created meeting on Google Meet directly through Gmail, without having to open Google Meet in your web browser. The feature is currently available when accessing Gmail on PV with a web browser, but we can expect some sort of integration for those using the Gmail mobile app.
