Apple devices are known for delivering the best call quality in terms of audio by balancing the details of your voice with those of your surroundings. If you want to get the most out of the microphone, you can use the Mic Mode option on your iPhone to make it easier for others to hear you during a call.

With Mic Mode, Apple gives you a way to choose what others hear from your side during a video/voice call using machine learning. This mode gives you two additional options beyond Standard Mode: Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum.
Voice Isolation separates your voice from other background noises to ensure that your voice remains clear at all times. This reduces distractions that can occur when you are on a call on your iPhone. Voice Isolation can be used to make your voice stand out above other background noises, for example, when you are in a busy place and you want your voice to reach the other person.
Wide Spectrum, on the other hand, does the opposite of Voice Isolation. Instead of filtering your voice out of the background, it lets in and amplifies ambient noise from your environment, so that even the smallest sounds can be heard clearly. Wide Spectrum can be used when you want others to listen on demand to every detail you want to share from your environment, such as when playing music in a live session.
