The correct syntax for adding a reminder in Slack is simple. The command has three parts, and once you add it, Slack will remind you or someone else with the reminder text you specify, at the time you specify.
To see how to set up the assignment, log into Slack and type /remind into the comment field. A pop-up will show you how to structure the assignment.
Always precede the person's name with the @ symbol or the channel name with the # symbol. If you want to remind yourself, just use me without the @ symbol. Follow the /remind command with the person you want to set the reminder for, the reminder, and the date for the reminder. Like this:
