How to Multi-Task on Split Screen on iPad Pro
With iOS 15, Apple simplified the multitasking interface introduced in iOS 11 to make using split screen more intuitive. You no longer have to enable a multi-app setting, and one of the apps you choose doesn’t have to be in the Dock, two parts of the original process that drew some criticism from Apple.
Split View in iOS 15 is activated via the three-dot multitasking icon that appears at the top of many iPad screens. Here’s how it works.
Open an app on the iPad. Tap the three dots in the middle of the screen at the top to open the multitasking menu.
