Midjourney has a Style parameter that you can use to fine-tune the aesthetics of your images, making them look more photorealistic, cinematic, or expressive than the usual generations. However, this parameter had limited presets, meaning you only had a handful of choices to apply to certain models. To help give you more control over what colors, style, characters, and details are added to your images, Midjourney now offers a Style Tuner tool that lets you create your own style and define the personality of the model you’re using.

Midjourney's NEW Style Tune Feature – How to Use It!

Style Tuner is a new feature in Midjourney that allows you to create your own style to generate images. With this tool you can influence colors, style, characters and their details and determine the personality of the model you use to create images in Midjourney.

You can create a custom style by entering a basic prompt that you want Midjourney to use to set a style default and following this up by choosing (style direction) how many styles you want the platform to generate based on this prompt. You can instruct Midjourney to create a preset number of basic styles, ranging from 32 images (16 directions) to 256 images (128 directions).

After you choose a prompt and style direction, Midjourney will create a link from which you can view different styles of images and select the one that appeals to you the most. After you choose a desired set of images, Midjourney will generate a code for your custom style that you can later use to generate the same original prompt or combine it with another prompt.
