The Apple Watch Control Center provides a quick way to view your battery life, turn on Do Not Disturb, turn on Airplane Mode, ping a paired iPhone, and more. This article explains how it works and what you can do with it.
How to access Control Center on watchOS 10
Apple changed the way you access Control Center in watchOS 10. In watchOS 10 (and later), you simply click the side button (once) whether you’re on the Home screen or in an app. In watchOS 9 (and earlier), you swipe up from the bottom of the screen when you’re on the Home screen. The Home screen is the watch face, where you’ll check the time and other features you’ve added to the watch face.
To close Control Center on watchOS 10, tap the side button again (just once). On watchOS 9, swipe down from the top of the screen or press the Digital Crown once.
Control Panel provides shortcuts to give you quick access to Apple Watch features. Some features, like the flashlight, are only available through Control Panel, while others are shortcuts to other apps or settings.
