Midjourney offers a style parameter for its AI tool that allows users to fine-tune the aesthetics of images to be more photorealistic, cinematic, or expressive than the usual generations. Over the past few months, Midjourney has offered several styles that you can apply to different versions of the AI art generator.
Midjourney's NEW Style Tune Feature – How to Use It!
In the current Midjourney model, version 5.2, users can apply only one style to refine the aesthetics of images. This is the –style raw parameter, which softens the influence of Midjourney's default aesthetics in a way that makes the resulting images look more cinematic or realistic.
There are other style parameters that you can use on different models of Midjourney, including version 4 and Niji models, the latter offering a more varied set of style parameters. You can look at them in more detail further down.
The Style parameter and Stylize parameter are two different things on Midjourney, although their wordings seem similar. As explained above, the Style parameter reduces the influence of Midjourney's aesthetics and acts as a modifier for your input prompt.
