How to Enable Telnet Client in Windows 10
Telnet isn’t a secure way to communicate with another device, but there are reasons to use it. However, you can’t just open the command prompt and expect it to execute commands. First, you need to enable Telnet Client through the Control Panel.
Open Control Panel by searching for it in the Start menu. Or open the Run dialog box by pressing WIN+R and then type control .
Select Programs. If you don't see this because you're looking at the Control Panel applet icons, choose Programs and Features instead and go to step 4.
