Uber has announced a new update that will allow a user to add Venmo as a payment method when using Uber and Uber Eats. The feature will reportedly be available in the coming weeks, although no official launch date has been given yet.

Thanks to this partnership, you can also share your rides and food orders with your friends using Venmo as a payment method, without paying extra for it.

Log in to your Uber app.

Select Venmo as your payment option in the payments section under your Uber profile. You will then be automatically redirected to the Venmo app.
