The Windows 10 Quick Access feature provides an easy way to find the files and folders you use most often. You can customize the folders that appear in the Quick Access view, disable Quick Access altogether, or clear your Quick Access history to reset the files that appear in the window.
Windows 10 Tips: Customize Quick Access
Quick Access replaces the Favorites feature, which allowed users to bookmark frequently used files or folders in previous versions of Windows. With Quick Access, you can see up to 10 frequently used folders or the 20 most recently opened files in the File Explorer window.
Open Windows Explorer and select Quick access in the left pane to view the files and folders you use most often.
Quick access is enabled by default in the Windows 10 File Explorer window. The folders and files that appear in Quick access are the folders and files that you used most often or most recently. However, you can customize which folders appear under Quick access by pinning them to the Quick access view.
