And while we expect the content of the expansions in the upcoming Worldsoul Saga to resemble this, the name of the first expansion in this trilogy, The War Within, carries more meaning on its own than any other expansion in WoW history.
While expansion names in the past have been relatively simple and indicative of what players could expect (for example, Legion is named after its central antagonists, the Burning Legion, while Shadowlands is named after the realm of existence it was set in), The War Within is a much more evocative name.
It cannot be stressed enough that the phrase The War Within has a double meaning, as the different meanings of the expansion's name stem from both external and internal conflicts.
