HP OfficeJet 250 Battery-Powered Mobile Printer: What to Know About This $450 Printer Before You Buy It
HP has been one of the most trusted and trusted manufacturers of PC technology for decades. It should come as no surprise that the HP OfficeJet 250 is one of the most impressive, complete printer packages on the market. It’s wireless, portable, fast, has a scanner and LCD touchscreen, and offers superior print quality, making it a clear winner among high-end printers.
HP stretches the definition of portability with the OfficeJet 250. At 15 inches long, nearly 8 inches wide, and weighing more than six pounds, it’s a behemoth among mobile, wireless printers. Then again, the OfficeJet packs a lot of features into that bold chassis, including a second fold-out tray for scanning and a 2-inch LCD touchscreen. The printer tray flips down from the top and snaps neatly into place without the need for a latch. The power outlet, USB port (cable not included), and battery are all located on the back, leaving the rest of the exterior sleek and matte.
The glossy interior features a power button on the left, along with three indicator lights for power, battery life and Wi-Fi. A 2” x 1.5” LCD screen on the right can be flipped out to a 45-degree angle by pressing firmly above the display. The touchscreen has scrollable and selectable icons and menus, as well as phone-style home and back buttons to make navigation a breeze.
