HP's new Fortis series of laptops is designed to withstand the tough conditions of the classroom, both inside and outside the school.
HP's new Elitebooks are SOLID laptops
“Hybrid work is the new normal for business, but blended learning is the new normal for education,” said Bill Avey, General Manager and Global Head of Education, Personal Systems, HP Inc, in the press release. “This requires technology with greater durability, improved connectivity and large screens so that content is accessible and engaging, wherever learning takes place.”
Each of the Fortis series laptops is reinforced almost everywhere, from the frame to the keys and even the cable connections. Surface textures make them easier to hold, damage from pulled cables should be reduced, and reinforced hinges should withstand multiple opening and closing cycles. The keys on the keyboards are also anchored so that students can’t easily dislodge them.
The frames, screens and keyboards can be safely cleaned with household disinfectants and cleaning wipes, without risk to the internal components.
