Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children has slowly been gaining popularity after its initial release in 2020, and with that popularity has come a demand for a "waifu," or dating system. It's a demand the developers can't seem to meet, and for a very funny reason.

Dandylion, the lead developer of Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children, responded today to the many calls on Steam for his team to add a dating system by denying the many requests, dryly adding the reason: "My team members have no experience with it, even in real life…" The hilarious response immediately went viral when it was subsequently shared by Chise Hator's Love on X (formerly Twitter), where the comment received a lot of love.

We're not sure if the developer's seemingly harsh comment about dating was a crude insult or factual. But it could be true, given how difficult dating is in the 2020s. Either way, it's earned the game even more fans, with many already calling the developer "so real for that" and suggesting that you should "have respect" for wanting to create a "realistic dating system."

Some players are already joking that the developers who want to create realistic dating experiences are just like them, implying that they have “experience with real-life tactical urban combat”, which would be quite interesting to see.
